Course summary

This program offered by Cornell University and Nanyang Technological University is an intensive professional degree program. Students must study six months in Ithaca, New York with Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and six months in Singapore with the Cornell-Nanyang Institute of Hospitality Management. Students can choose one of the career track from the following: human resource; marketing; operations and revenue management; operations management; and real estate finance and investment.

The modules are as follows: MH 6723 Corporate Finance, MH 6761 Managerial Accounting, MH 6744 Competitive Strategies for the Hospitality Industry, MH 6712 Human - Resource Management, MH 6772 Information Systems Management, MH 6761 Managerial Communications, MH 8625 Securitization and Structured Financial Products, MH 6305 Advanced Hospitality Operations Management, MH 8606 Advanced Revenue Management, MH 6726 Product and Pricing Management, MH 6629 IT and E-Commerce for Hospitality Marketing, and elective courses from one of the following career tracks: human resource; marketing; operations and revenue management; operations management; and real estate finance and investment.

Entry requirement for international students

Students from Bangladesh must have a Diploma of Journalism, Languages, Library Science, Nutrition and Dietetics, or Statistics; Bachelor of Architecture; Bachelor of Laws; Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor or Sciences; Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery; Bachelor of Science (Honors) in agricultural-related fields; Bachelor of Dental Science; Bachelor of Arts, Commerce, Education, Fine Arts, or Science; Master of Business Administration; Master of Defense. Students of Canada must possess any of the following degrees: Bachelors Degree (four years); Bachelors Degree (Honours). Students from China must have a Diploma or Bachelors Degree earned after four to five years of additional study. Hong Kong students must have a Bachelors degree or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education. Students from India must possess a Bachelor of Engineering or Architecture; Bachelor of Science; Bachelor of Technology; Bachelor of Dental Surgery; Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery; Bachelor of Laws; Bachelor of Education; Bachelor of Teaching. Malaysian students must have Bachelors Degree; Postgraduate diplomas (from a university); Advanced Diploma (from Institut Teknologi Mara). Students from Pakistan must have completed a Bachelor of Dental Surgery; Bachelor of Medicine-Bachelor of Surgery; Doctor of Veterinary Medicine; Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry; Bachelor Engineering; Bachelor Science, Engineering; Bachelor Science, Town Planning; Bachelor of Law; bachelor science, Agricultural Engineering; Bachelor of Technology; Master's Degree; Bachelor of Architecture; Bachelor of Arts, Honors (from International Islamic University); Bachelor of Science, Honors (from International Islamic University).
