Course summary

This programme trains students in operational management, marketing and control of travel related services. Careers in Travel and Tourism involve the sharing of customs, unique peculiarities/features and geography of destinations and attractions .to guests and tourists. The close interaction with tourists and travelers is suitable for those with are articulate, with a flair for meeting people and involving them with activities and events.

Program modules

The modules are MICE - Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions; Tourism Itinerary Preparation, Costing and Documentation; Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service Quality; Travel and Tourism Operations Management; Tourism Accounting; Tourism Sales and Marketing; Economics; Finance and Business Plan Administration; Product Development Co-ordination; Global Distribution System (GDS) - GALILEO/ABACUS (FOC).

Entry requirement for international students

Applicant should have completed Diploma in Travel and Tourism or Diploma in Hospitality Management from AEC or equivalent; or they must have completed 3 O levels or 5 N levels or they should be above 21 years of age with some secondary school education and working experience. They should also complete English Level 4 or equivalent.
