Entry requirement for international students
Students from Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, India, Korea, Nepal and Vietnam need to have completed Higher Secondary (Year 12). In addition to these, they must have attained Certificate of Completion Baccalaureate (Cambodia), Certificate of Graduation Diploma (China), Higher Secondary Certificate (India and Nepal), High School Diploma (Korea), and Secondary School Graduation Certificate (Vietnam). Bangladesh students are also required to have completion of Higher Technical (Year 13) and attain Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC). Students from Indonesia must have completed Senior High School/Sekolah Menengah Umum (SMU) (Year 12). Malaysian students need to have done Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan (STPM) (Year 12) with passes in at least two subjects or completion of Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) (Year 11) and at least one year of foundation/diploma program. Students from Myanmar should have completed Upper Secondary and attain Education Standard Examination (Matriculation) (Year 11), and at least two years of study at a recognized post secondary institution. They must also fulfill the following English language requirements: IELTS with a band score of 6.0, TOEFL with a band score of 500 or better (213 on computer-based/79 on internet-based) and successful completion of high/secondary school/post secondary program over a period of at least two years of full time study which English was the language of instruction (documentary proof from the high/secondary/post secondary school is required).
